Invisible Children's Legacy Tour comes to Breakaway
>> Feb 10, 2010 By: Johnny Brower
Get excited everyone! Invisible Children will be joining us at Breakaway again on April 11th at 6pm. We will be hosting them as they travel around on their Legacy Tour screening thier new video and presenting awareness about issues in Uganda. Joining them is Lillian, a Ugandan advocate who was featured in their first video, "Go."
So bring all of your friends and gather with us to welcome Lillian and Invisible Children! There will be food, fellowship and fun! With your help, we can join them in their efforts to end war and restore northern Uganda. Don't miss out on an opportunity to impact lives in northern Uganda by hearing their story and being a part of something bigger.
--At 21, Lillian has accomplished feats beyond her years. Invisible Children first met Lillian while filming the documentary, “GO” in 2007. Lillian is smart. It’s obvious. Street-smart, she lived on her own at age 20 and has no real fears about living in Uganda’s urban capital, Kampala. Life-smart, dropping bits of wisdom so frequently that its difficult to scribble them all down. Lillian has an uncanny ability to just push on through, all while exuding a palpable sense of confidence.
