Jana and her family have been active at First Methodist for eight years. She has served as the Director since 2007 and has a true calling and conviction for helping newcomers feel a spirit of warmth and welcome when they enter our church. She longs to see all members of the church involved in Group Life so that they can experience the church as God intended, in community with other believers, strengthening their knowledge and relationship with Christ. She has been married to her husband Clint for 13 years and has two amazing children, Lauren (10) and Carter (6).
Leslie Waldson | Community Life Director | Leslie was born and raised here at First Methodist Mansfield. After graduation, she went to Texas A&M and graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. While in college, Leslie was extremely active in the United Methodist Wesley Foundation. Since then she has moved back to the DFW area where she met her husband Andrew. They have recently built a house in Mansfield and decided to make this their church home together. She has a true passion for making people feel connected and it is her dream for each member, new or old, to feel connected and involved in a community where they can grow together to love God, love others, and serve the world.
Rae has lived in Mansfield all her life. Her family joined First United Methodist Church last summer. Rae has a degree in Social Work from UTA. She has been married for 20 years to Ron. They have two beautiful children; Catherine (15) and Connor (11). Rae enjoys connecting with others and serving her church family.
Amiee Nix | Group Life Coordinator |
Amiee started attending First Methodist in Fall 2008. She joined a women's bible study in the fall of 2009 and has attended weekly ever since. Amiee and her husband Josh started a couples group Spring 2013 and enjoy helping couples connect with the church. Amiee is passionate about group life and encouraging individuals to get connected. She has been married to her husband Josh for 3 years and they have a son Addicus (2).
Todd Dawson | Parking Ministry Coordinator|
Todd has been a part of First Mansfield for several years and has served in various capacities throughout the church including a Sunday School teacher, a Men's Bible Study Leader and Basketball coordinator. He served as a volunteer for many years leading a parking ministry during large events at the church. In 2010, Todd accepted a staff position to launch a first class parking ministry that will assist our congregation every weekend as they drive onto our campus. Todd is married to his wonderful wife Angie and they have three amazing children Jordan, Taylor and Eli (1).

Shana grew up in the Mansfield area and joined First Methodist Mansfield as a young adult and remembers being welcomed into the church in a very warm and loving way. Shana is married to Michael and they have three wonderful children; a daughter, Taylor (15), and two sons, Thomas (7) and Trenton (6). She currently attends a women's small group each week. She loves being at the church and helping new visitors or members make long lasting connections.
