What is Community Life and how can I get involved?
“But if we walk in the light, like he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7
The purpose of Community Life is to give adults in our church and surrounding areas a smaller community in order to fellowship with people of their same interest as they love God, love others and serve the world. God uses the phrase “one another” over 56 times in the New Testament. Clearly we are called to be in community with ‘one another.’ We believe the Spirit of God can move us and connect us to one another, but we must understand that we are called to participate in the movement of the Spirit.
Community Life currently hosts events for the following groups:
- Emmaus Community
- Faith & Friends Women’s Community
- First Men’s Community
- Married Life Community
- Out & About Community
- Single & Parenting Community
- Sports Community
- United Methodist Women
- Young Professionals Community
If you would like to get involved by helping lead and/or by serving on one of these communities' committees or if you have questions about events they are hosting, please contact .
