Chancel Bells
The Chancel Bell Choir is a group of dedicated adults who ring challenging anthems (up to AGEHR Level 5) and hymns monthly for Sunday morning worship. In addition to participating in local outreach ministries, the Chancel Bells also participate in at least one bell festival or clinic each year.
Joyful Ringers
The Joyful Ringers are a four-octave ensemble for adults who cannot rehearse on a week night due to travel and job restraints. The Joyful Ringers play up to Level 4 pieces, also attend bell clinics and festivals and play in Sunday morning worship about once a month.
Faith Ringers
This bell choir is for beginning ringers and meets on Sunday's from 4-5pm. This choir is for individuals that have never played bells before and want to try something new. No musical experience is needed. This is primarily a teaching choir, helping everyone learn the techniques and important skills of ringing in a supportive environment.
Righteous Ringers
This youth bell choir, for grades 7 through 12, is directed by Jeanette Liukonen. They learn the basics of handbell ringing in addition to learning and improving their music reading skills. They occasionally perform for the morning worship service.
Other Bell Ensembles
There are also opportunities for more advanced ringers to try their hand at ensemble work including quartets, trios, duets and solos. This presents a unique challenge to those looking for a way to explore their gifts and learn more advanced techniques. These ensembles are open to members of Chancel Bells and Joyful Ringers or by approval from the director.
