Tina Schramme is in her 8th year of ministry at First Mansfield as the Director of our Children Ministries. Tina received her Master's degree in child development from the University of North Texas and is passionate about empowering families. Tina has been married for 14 years to her best friend, Gene; and, they have a 12 year old daughter, Parker, and an 9 year old son, Grayson.

Michelle has worked for our church since 2005. Her first four years were spent with First Faith Preschool and Kindergarten. She recently joined the children ministry team as the Administrative Coordinator. She has been married to her wonderful husband Rodney for 10 years and they have two wonderful boys Bryson and Blane. She loves working with children and watching them grow.
Seree Plumlee | Nursery Director |
Seree has been with First Mansfield since June of 2004, becoming the Nursery Director in January 2008. After many years in the corporate world she has loved being so focused on the children of our church...after all, it is much more fun to be playing with kids than working in a stuffy old office! Seree has been married to her wonderful husband, Karl, for 13 years and they have one daughter, Taylor, who is 9 years old.

Amy loves children and is all about making a joyful NOISE! She feels privileged to be a part of teaching kids about finding their own unique way to worship God. Amy is a graduate from UTA and has been working at our church since 1998. She has fulfilled many roles on staff including music teacher, drummer, nursery staff, worship leader, curriculum writer and bus driver. Amy is the Children's Program Coordinator and can't wait to see where God leads her next.

Paul is really just a big kid…older, though, with bad knees and hips. Paul has been involved with children’s ministries here for the past 2 years, working with PRAIZE, WACKY Week, VBC, Route 56, Confirmation and G-Force. Paul and his wife, Beth, led a 4th, 5th & 6th grade youth group for a number of years at a former church and find that kids and their understanding of God’s love is simply amazing. Paul and Beth have 2 kids…Casey (17) and Keaton (14). God Rules and YOU Rock!!
Dawn Brown| 5th-6th grade coordinator|
Welcome back Dawn Brown. It was too quiet without her! Dawn LOVES working with children and teaching them to be excited about Jesus. Dawn is thrilled to be in her new roll working with 5th-and 6th graders.

Danielle has a passion for volunteers. She takes care of recruiting all of those who serve. Her task is GINORMOUS! If you meet her she will find a place for you here. We are delighted to have her on staff. Hook Em Horns and Go God!!!!

Andrea has worked for our church since 2003. Her first two years were spent with First Faith Preschool and Kindergarten and the last 3 have been with the Children's Ministry as nursery coordinator. She has been married for 8 years and have two wonderful boys ages 13 and 7. She loves working with children and finds it very satisfying watching them learn and grow. "I love my job."

Courtney is a long time Mansfield citizen and she and her husband have attended our church since 1994. They chose this church early in our marriage with thoughts of having children and being impressed with the programs that our church offered. She graduated from Tarleton State University with a B.S. in Exercise and Sports Studies with teaching certifications in All-Level Health, P.E. and Education. "Leading children and their parents to Christ through sports is a blessing!" The Wilson's have 3 children: Tanner 12, Chase 10, and Dax 8. God is good!
Charlene McKinzey | 5th & 6th Grade Coordinator |
Charlene has a deep love for the Lord and has served Him in many ways. Her experience includes being a youth director, music/worship arts assistant, music director, children's choir director/coordinator and a youth choir director. She is so excited to finally be entering her second childhood and working with our 5th and 6th graders. Besides working at church, Charlene teaches 8th grade Language Arts at Wester Middle School. Her favorite role is that of wife to Kyle, and mother to Brandt and Johnna.

Janine and her family have been members of our church since 2000. She has volunteered teaching Sunday School and joined the staff in 2007. Janine holds a Masters Degree in Special Education and a strong background in education. She is married to Steve and they have three fantastic kids! Parker is 18, Kyle is 15, and Ansley is 12. "Being a special education teacher and being blessed with my son Kyle, who was born with special needs, gives me a unique perspective. I'd like to be able to help other families connect with our church and assist them in finding resources and programs available to them."

Julie is a life long member of our church and has served in various areas including Children's Ministries, The Mission Center, Kitchen Ministries and Care Ministries. She has worked with children for several years and joined the Children's Ministry Team in April 2009. Julie says she is happy and feels very blessed to be a part of this team! She believes that children raised in Faith and a Christian environment are the two most important gifts parents and caregivers can give. Julie is married to her wonderful husband Duane and has two great kids, Payton and Landon. "I am so grateful for all of God's blessings and the awesome ways He works in my life!

Kim has been a member of First Methodist Mansfield for 14 years. In November 2009 she joined the Children’s Ministries team as “Hospitality Coordinator” and is looking forward to watching our children, one by one take steps in their walk with Jesus Christ. She has previously worked for First Faith Preschool and continues to volunteer in many areas inside and outside the Church. Kim feels truly blessed to be a part of this incredible ministry. Kim has been married to Brett for 22 years and they have three awesome children, Kelsee, Kaylee & Spencer.
