DivorceCare and DC4K
Every Sunday, 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM, from 04/11/2010 to 08/01/2010
This 11-week class is for those who are going through a divorce, have recently been through a divorce or just need Christian support for any type of marriage separation. The adult class will meet in M-106 and utilize a DVD program and group discussion.
Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K) is a program for children between the ages of 6-12 whose parents are enrolled in the Divorce Care class. The DC4K class will meet in A&E 103. Both classes are held at the same time but in separate rooms. DC4K provides children with a safe and neutral place to recognize and learn to share their feelings and helps children heal from the pain caused by a separation or divorce.

Day Camp at the Dugout
Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM, from 06/07/2010 to 08/20/2010
Day Camp @ The Dugout is a fun summer camp that we have held in the past for the children of our church staff ~ but this year we wanted to open it up to more kiddos ages 6 months to 12 years! We have lots of fun playing games, doing crafts, watching movies, etc.
Fridays will be FUN FRIDAYS for the bigger kids (going into 1st Grade – 12 years old). There will be fun activities and some field trips. Parents will be required to pay any additional costs for field trips (more details to follow on destinations and costs).
Space is LIMITED to 30 children per day ~ Parents may sign up their kiddos for any available spots. You can sign up for just one day, or as many as you want! ALL Children should bring their lunch – No Peanuts and nothing that needs to be heated please. Children entering Kindergarten and under will have “quiet” nap time so please bring a nap mat. Faith Builder Coach Camp

Faith Builder Coach Camp is required training for Faith Builder Volunteers. Faith Builder Volunteers are those who serve in a leadership position within the church, and/or who work with children, youth or vulnerable adults. During this training, volunteers will be empowered to be "Coaches for Christ" by recognizing their position as spiritual leaders, seeing the vision and beliefs of our church, and working to preserve First Methodist Mansfield as a holy place of safety and protection. This training also covers our church's Safe Sanctuary Policy and Procedures. We meet in room M-108. For more information, please contact .

Route 56 Summer Blast

If you are a student or know a student going into 5th or 6th grade in the Fall, come learn more about Route 56 at our Route 56 Summer Blast. We will have four days of fun, games and snacks in the gym. Be sure to let us know you are coming by registering online by August 9.

Family Camp

Join us for campfires and more at Camp Grady Spruce on Possum Kingdom Lake. All ages are invited. We will stay in air-conditioned cabins on the lake. The $275 fee includes a cabin that will sleep up to eight people and all meals and activities. Registration is limited to 12 families, so please let us know online if you are planning to join us (note there is a 4% convenience fee to pay online, otherwise you can drop your check off in the Children's Department). Church offices will be closed for Christmas Eve, but services will be held on Christmas Eve. The church campus will also be closed December 27 to celebrate the Christmas holiday.
