The Thrift Store started in 1979 as a United Methodist Women's project. People from our congregation and throughout the community donate their good conditioned, clean, usable clothing, furniture, and household items. Those items are then sold. The proceeds provide the funds to operate the Wesley Mission Center which provides assistance and resources to people in crisis in the Mansfield area through our Mission C.A.R.E. Center. Some donations are shared with Medina Children's Home, City of Mansfield Animal Shelter - receives blankets, TCC Photography Department - receives cameras and video equipment, and to third world countries through Charity Shoes and Clothing. The Thrift Store is much more than donations and sales... it is a ministry. It is an outreach to the community, providing goods to families who might not be able to afford them otherwise. Every purchase made supports the ministry and impacts someone's life.
