As determined by the assessment, the following assistance may be made available to them:

  • Food
  • Clothing
  • Utility assistance (gas, electric and water)
  • Mortgage/rent assistance
  • Counseling
  • Medical assistance
  • Job assistance and referral program
  • First United Methodist Church Mansfield and its support groups
  • Referrals to other organizations
  • Robin's Wings Women's Program

Our service area for financial assistance is limited to the Mansfield Independent School District.  However, our non-financial services are available to all who enter our doors.  The Mission C.A.R.E. Center has become a hotline for the community. Individuals and other organizations such as schools, churches, government agencies, frequently call requesting information on the availability of assistance. Mission C.A.R.E. staff spends time with the callers attempting to match them up with the community resources that will best meet their needs.

In 2010, the Mission C.A.R.E. Center financial assistance program provided over $222,443 in assistance to families in need.  We could not do this without the help of the many wonderful people who donate funds and volunteer time.
