Journey Through Grief

JOURNEY THROUGH GRIEF - A six-week class for those who have experienced any kind of loss by providing tools and a supportive environment to understand and cope with the grief process.

Journey To Hope
MEETS 1st & 3rd MONDAY~ AUGUST 20-MAY 20 • 6:30-7:30 PM • BUILDING A 204
Journey To Hope is for children and adolescents (ages 5 - 18) who have experienced a significant loss (e.g. death, divorce, move, loss of a relationship, illness, cancer, fear of school shootings, etc.). The loss may be recent or in the past; grief is not bound by time. Even “good” changes can bring grief or trigger past loss. No registration required, we would love for you to join us!
We offer the following ongoing support groups:
GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP—

The Grief Support Group is for adults who have participated or plan to participate in Journey Through Grief. This group provides an opportunity for sharing, fellowship, and support For those who are on the journey through grief. *From September 10th through November 5th, this group will meet in C 5.
BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP—
2nd MONDAY OF THE MONTH • 7:00- 8:45 PM • C 7
Have you or someone you know been touched by breast cancer? This group offers both support and resources for those fighting breast cancer. Childcare is offered.
CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP—
3rd MONDAY OF THE MONTH • 6:30-8:00 PM • A 219
Caring for loved ones creates challenges for family caregivers that bring increasing responsibilities and demands on time. The Caregivers Support Group offers a level of emotional support along with problem-solving and idea sharing that's different from what a mental health counselor provides. Join us for a time of fellowship with others in the same season of life.
LOVE ABOVE ALL CANCER SUPPORT GROUP—
1st WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH • 6:00-7:00 PM • BUILDING D - 121
This group is designed to give individuals with cancer a place to share their struggles as well as getting support from each other in a safe, loving, and Christian environment. The purpose is to have opportunities for self-expression with people who understand their pain and struggles and focus on the blessings of each day as they go through the journey of their battle. Childcare is offered.
SURVIVORS OF ABUSE SUPPORT GROUP— (this group will start March 21, 2019)
EVERY THURSDAY • 7:30-8:30 PM • C 3
A support group to empower survivors to reclaim what abuse took away. Childcare will be offered.
