Thank you for joining us for the 3rd annual Mansfield Son Run 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run. This event was conceived through the efforts of members of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield to provide a fun fitness activity and as a fundraiser for ZOE Ministry and the Wesley Mission Center.
Event Details
Both events will begin and end in the First United Methodist Mansfield parking lot near The Wesley Mission Center. The 5K will proceed through area streets, downtown Mansfield and return to the church. The 1 Mile will be two laps around the church.
Date: Saturday, April 9, 2011
Time:
- 5K Son Run - 9 a.m.
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run - 10:15 a.m.
Registration:
- Early registration is now closed, but you can register the day of the event or stop by the church office during the week to complete a registration form.
Packet Pickup
- Friday, April 8, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary Atrium at First United Methodist Church
- Race Day, Saturday, April 9 - 7:30 a.m., Parking Lot of First United Methodist Church
Awards and Age Groups
The 5K will be a timed event with awards given to the overall male and female winners and to the top finishers in each age group:
- Children ages 0-9
- Youth ages 10-15
- Adults ages 15-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70, 70+
Post Run Activities
The awards ceremony will be held immediately following the completion of the 1 Mile Fun Run. Then stick around for activities and fellowship with runners!
