Stitches of Love Quilting Group

Every Thursday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Stitches of Love meets weekly for fellowship and quilting in M-105 and M-106.  They work together to make quilts for Cook Children's Hospital and various other organizations.

Novel Conversations Bible Study

Every Thursday, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

Join this group of women ages 25+ that enjoy reading contemporary Christian books and gathering together to wrestle with the questions that arise. They enjoy deep conversations about the material they are studying as well as the fellowship with other women.  Meet in room M-111 to join in on the bookclub conversation. Wesley Mission Center Job Program ~ 2013

Second Thursday of the month, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

This event is a network gathering for those who are unemployed or employed and actively seeking employment. Our Job Program is scheduled for the second Thursday of each month at the C.A.R.E Center where we offer networking orientations where those seeking employment can meet other job seekers and receive feedback from the coordinator about job search strategies.

Yoga on the Move for Cancer Survivors

Every Thursday, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Yoga on the Move is for women who are cancer survivors. These women meet in A&E 214 every Thursday from 4:30-5:30 p.m. The class is taught by Tynette Henson who is also a registered nurse. Alicia Turner who facilitiates our Breast Cancer Support Group will also be attending. There is no fee for this class. Child care is provided. The participants will be required to sign a doctor's release in addition to the church's release waiver.
