First Methodist's Weekly Newsletterby Shelby Meeks
Have you attended a Walk to Emmaus? This three-day retreat is an experience of Christian spiritual renewal and formation. There are two great opportunities for men this Fall for Walk to Emmaus. If you are interested in taking the walk yourself or would like to sponsor a pilgrim please contact Chrissy Smith. Join us this weekend in the atrium where you can find out more information about this amazing program.
Every school year, members of First Methodist provide scholarships for children at the Ganta United Methodist Mission School in Ganta, Liberia. For only $100, a child can attend our mission school for half a year or an entire year $200. For cash or check donation, drop off at the church office; write Ganta in the memo line. Don't forget, this is the last week to donate! You can also make a donation online here!
