Emmaus
Have you attended a Walk to Emmaus? This three-day retreat is an experience of Christian spiritual renewal and formation. There are two great opportunities for men this Fall for Walk to Emmaus. If you are interested in taking the walk yourself or would like to sponsor a pilgrim please contact Chrissy Smith. Join us this weekend in the atrium where you can find out more information about this amazing program. 

Ganta Scholarships
Every school year, members of First Methodist provide scholarships for children at the Ganta United Methodist Mission School in Ganta, Liberia. For only $100, a child can attend our mission school for half a year or an entire year $200. For cash or check donation, drop off at the church office; write Ganta in the memo line. Don't forget, this is the last week to donate! You can also make a donation online here!

Journey The Grief
AUGUST 4
Have you, or somebody you know and love, experienced a loss? We want to extend the invitation to join us for Journey Through Grief. This is a six-week support group for those who have experienced any kind of loss in order to provide tools and support to understand and cope with grief. Please contact us with any questions you may have or visit our website to sign up! 

Habitat Build
SEPTEMBER 6 & 7
Be a part of the next Habitat for Humanity build in Ft. Worth and help make the dream of homeownership come true for a family in need of assistance. Volunteers of all skill levels, age 16 and up, are welcome to help; tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. (Volunteers ages 16-17 must have a release signed by their parents/guardians.) Spots are limited. Lunch will be provided. Check out our page for more information.

New Adult Studies Beginning September 4
SAVE THE DATE!
We have three studies starting up for adults on Wednesday, September 4th we would love for you to be a part of. Pastors Bible Study taught by Pastor David will be taking a deeper look at the book of Genesis at 9:30 am in the Chapel. That night we are starting two studies at 6:30 pm. Apocalypse is an 8-week study on the book of Revelation taught by Pastor Shea and Pastor Mike Ramsdell. Homegrown is a 6-week study taught by Andrea Roberts that focuses on cultivating kids in the Fruit of the Spirit.
