Kairos Cookie Return
OCTOBER 14/15 • CONNECTING POINT
Thank you for baking all those cookies— it is time to bring them to the Connecting Point outside each worship space. During Kairos, we offer the cookies to welcome the inmates and have these treats available throughout the Kairos weekend. Acolyte Training

Is your child interested in serving as an acolyte? Join us for an informational meeting and training session for children (2nd grade and older) interested in serving as an acolyte or wishing to continue volunteering. Being an Acolyte is an easy way to involve your child in serving and they get to be part of the 11 am Traditions Service. We will also provide a pizza lunch for all those that attend. Serving @ First

Are you being called to take the next step to serve within the church? We invite you to join us for one of the next sessions of Serving @ First. This one-hour class prepares you to serve, teaches the basics of our church's mission, guidance for spiritual leadership, and provides Safe Sanctuary training. Following the class, those seeking a place to serve will receive guidance for next steps. You may register for either the Sunday, October 15 or the Tuesday, October 17 class on our website.  

Purpose Retreat

Calling all 6-8th grade students! We invite you to join us for the first ever Middle School Retreat! We have a day planned for team building, individual empowerment, and FUN! Starting Point

Starting Point is a casual and relaxed gathering led by our Senior Pastor, David Alexander. All guests interested in joining our church are invited to learn more about our church, our mission, and what we believe. Hands of Christ
7:30 AM • OCTOBER 21 • MEET AT WMC
Hands of Christ is our local mission program that helps with minor home repairs for the elderly and disabled. Volunteers of all skill levels, from helping with hospitality to hands-on repair work are needed. A few examples of past Hands of Christ projects include building wheelchair ramps, repairing porches, and painting houses. Boomers and Beyond Tour

Join us for a fun Tour The Star event in Frisco. We will tour the corporate headquarters of The Dallas Cowboys which houses The Ford Center, displays of unique artwork by world-renowned artists and experience the history of the Cowboys with an abundance of memorabilia.
