First Methodist's Weekly Newsletter

A Note From Pastor David
About What's Next...

On May 20 immediately following our 11:00 am worship services, we will hold a Church Conference in our main sanctuary. The purpose of this gathering will be:

  • Seek authorization from our church body for a Capital Campaign this fall to raise funds for this initial work.
  • Seek approval for the purchase of the 1.13 acre property and office building at 951 N Walnut Creek Drive which we intend to use to free up additional ministry space on our campus.
  • Authorize our architect, Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, to begin construction drawings so that we can more accurately determine project costs.

Here is what I am asking you to do today—

Below you will find a link to a survey put together by Horizons Stewardship who is helping us prepare for a potential capital campaign. Your input is a vital part of determining the readiness of our church to take this next step. This is a confidential survey. None of our church leaders, including me, will see your name attached to your response. I want to encourage you to respond both prayerfully and honestly with your insight. We would appreciate your response as soon as possible, but no later than May 14. If you have questions about the survey, please contact me at Pastor David Alexander.
