Serving @ First

Are you being called to take the next step and serve within the church? We invite you to join us for one of the next session of Serving @ First. This one-hour class prepares you to serve, teaches the basics of our church's mission, guidance for spiritual leadership, and provides Safe Sanctuary training. Following the class, those seeking a place to serve will receive guidance for next steps. You may register for the class on our website

Ash Wednesday Service
7 PM • FEBRUARY 14 • SANCTUARY
Join us for the Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, February 14 to celebrate the start of Lent. At First Methodist Mansfield, we symbolize the beginning of our Lenten journey with the imposition of ashes. If scheduling conflicts prevent you from attending the evening service, we will have time set aside for reflection and the imposition of ashes from 6:30-8am and again from 11:30am-1pm the morning of February 14 in the Chapel.  

Small Group Launch
5 PM • FEBRUARY 11 • THE LOFT
If you are currently looking for a small group, this event is for you! At this one-hour launch, you will learn what it means to be in a small group and find one that best fits your needs and schedule. The groups that form at the Launch follow a curriculum on building and growing community around issues of faith. To register for this event, visit our website. Moms Coffee Talk

WMC Thrift Store Open House

In appreciation of the continued support from First Methodist's members— WMC is offering an exclusive opportunity to tour the new Thrift Store from 2-4 pm and celebrate with refreshments! This is also a great time to do some spring cleaning and help them fill their new racks! We look forward to seeing you there! 

Habitat Volunteers
FEBRUARY 23/24 and March 3 • MANSFIELD
Make the dream of home ownership come true for Santana Eppinger by being part of the next Habitat build. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome (16 and up); tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. (Volunteers age 16-17 must have a release signed by parents/guardians.) First Faith Tot Trot
MARCH 5 • ROSE PARK
Come run with us at the first community-wide Tot Trot! We will kick off the morning with a One-Mile Fun Run at 8:30am immediately followed by the 5K Run on the linear trail at 9am. For those not participating in the 5K— Rose Park has playgrounds and picnic tables to relax and cheer on the runners!
