A Note From Pastor Shea

A Note From Pastor Shea

Dear First Family,

Regardless of whether or not Ezekiel EIliott shows up for practice, we will be having church this weekend! Pastor David will be back preaching all sanctuary services. If you haven’t been to The Well, you are invited to join me in the Chapel at 11:00 am.

This weekend we are kicking off our new series Be Brave. Be Brave will also be our theme for the fall as we challenge one another to take the next steps in our walk with the Lord. We believe that everybody has a next step and Christ is calling us to take brave steps. Make plans to join us in worship throughout this whole series as we explore the ways God is calling us to be brave.

I also want to bring two opportunities to your attention:

If you are registered for the Holy Land trip scheduled January 20-29, 2020 or interested in learning more about this trip, please join Pastor David this Sunday at 3:00 pm in the Chapel for an informational meeting. He will go over the trip itinerary and answer any questions you might have.

Don’t make plans for dinner on Monday, August 26th! Instead, join us at Spring Creek BBQ for our annual Special Needs Fundraiser. Whether you eat there or take your food to go, Spring Creek will donate 20% of their proceeds that night from 5-9 pm.

For those of you who will be out of town this weekend, I want to encourage you to worship with us and continue your giving online.

I thank God for you and praise Him for your faithfulness to the gospel. I look forward to seeing you around campus this weekend.

Grace and Peace in Christ,
Pastor Shea
