A Note From Pastor Davidby Pastor David Alexander
Dear First Family,
There is so much going on this weekend that I want to lift up today. Let me dive right in with two events we have taking place this Saturday.
First, I want to ask you to pray for the 48 fathers and sons who are attending our Pure Adventure retreat. Registration is still open and you can even come and register once you get to the retreat! For details of the retreat and to register, click here. I want to invite you to pray for this day focused specifically on deepening relationships with fathers and their young sons.
There is still time to register for the women’s IF: Gathering event that will take place this Saturday from 9:00-3:00 in the Loft. Registration is $10 per person and lunch is included. Please click here to signup or you can register that morning at the door.
On Sunday afternoon at 5:00 pm in our Chapel, I will be hosting an informational gathering about two upcoming trips I will be leading alongside Bishop Mike Lowry. In August we will be traveling to England for a Wesley Heritage Tour and in late January 2020, we will again be returning to the Holy Land. If you are interested in learning more about either of these opportunities, I look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
Finally, we are already gearing up for our Holy Week and Easter services and need your help! You may volunteer to serve and welcome at any of these services: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunrise, and three Easter Sunday services. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt to wear while serving. Visit our website to sign up!
Don’t forget that you can easily share our Easter and Holy Week opportunities with anyone by directing them to www.fmcm.org/easter. All of those services are also printed below.
I look forward to seeing you in worship this weekend as we come to the fourth stop on our Trip of a Lifetime!
