Each weekend at First Methodist Mansfield we offer seven distinct worship opportunities: our Saturday worship service at 6 p.m., four Sunday morning services at 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m and two Sunday evening services at 5:00 p.m. We also offer Sunday School on Sunday mornings and Celebrate Recovery worship on Thursdays.
Saturday night at 6:00 PM
Our Saturday night worship service in the Sanctuary features modern music led by our Saturday Night band, an extensive children's program, including nursery [birth - 2 yrs], breakout classes for 2 year olds through kindergarten, a children's worship service for ages 1st - 4th grade called G-Force and Studio 5.6 for 5th and 6th grade worship. Sunday morning at 8:15 AM
Our 8:15 a.m. worship service in the Sanctuary features classic hymns, songs of praise, contemporary, gospel and classical anthems anchored by our Chancel Choir and pipe organ under the direction of Dr. Scott Ferrell.
Sunday morning at 9:30 AM
Our 9:30 a.m. worship service in the Sanctuary features modern music led by our Nine30 Praise Band and Choir under the direction of worship leader Stephanie Gow. Sunday morning at 11:00 AM Traditional Worship
Our 11:00 a.m. traditional worship service in the Sanctuary features an atmosphere of celebration, classic hymns, songs of praise, contemporary, gospel and classical anthems anchored by our Chancel choir, orchestra, and pipe organ under the direction of Dr. Scott Ferrell. Sunday school classes for all ages are also offered during the 11:00 hour including a special children's worship service called G-Force. Sunday morning at 11:00 AM The Well
"The Well" features a relaxed & casual atmosphere with contemporary music and an opportunity to worship and connect with others in a smaller environment. We meet in the Main Building in the Chapel. Sunday school classes for all ages are also offered during the 11:00 hour, including a special children's worship service called G-Force.
Sunday evening at 5:00 PM
Join us for our newest worship service in the Chapel. There is a full band with a music and worship team led by Josh Nix. Our full team of pastors rotate leading this service — Pastor Mike Ramsdell, Pastor David Alexander and Pastor Caesar Rentie will all preach on occasion. Special message series and individual messages will guide what we think will be an important and rapidly growing service. Early childhood classes, G-Force worship for 1st-4th grade and Studio 5.6 worship for 5th-6th grade are also available at this time.
Thursday night at 6:30 PM Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery meets in the Chapel located in the Main Building. This one-hour worship experience is a celebration of God’s healing power in our lives and is followed by a second hour of open share groups. The service features contemporary praise music led by worship leader Karen McGough. Each week fellowship opportunities are offered, before worship and after worship in open share groups.
Celebration Station is the children's program that meets at the same time as Celebrate Recovery and mirrors the adult teachings. We will help the kids understand the language of recovery and give them coping strategies, techniques and values to help them overcome negative family patterns.
